Respond to Requests

This week at St Columba 20 July 2025

"Do we have to choose?"

Rev Caleb Hardie is preaching this Sunday at 8:30am and 10:30am services.

Reading: Luke 10: 38-42

If you can't make it to church, please join our LIVE STREAM

Each Sunday service is streamed live. Use the link above at any time,
or go to the SERVICES page on our website.

During the 10:30am service, join the adults in church first,
then off to the KidSpace for loads of fun activities and great Biblical learning.

This week's teaching is about "Martha and Mary" and the reading is from Luke 10:38-42

Please note we need more volunteers for the Tea and Coffee roster.
We are now desperately short of numbers and are unable to roster anyone to serve Tea and Coffee at 8.30am on 24 August and 10.30am on 24 & 31 August.

If anyone is able to help, please let the office know as soon as possible.

Prayer Chain notification

Margaret Dewse will be away from 22nd July to 15th August.

During this time prayer requests should be sent to the church office, by phone or email admin@stcolumba.org.nz

We gently encourage you to remember St Columba in your will or estate plans. Bequests – no matter the size – can help us realize our visions for ministry and mission. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please feel free to talk to Caleb. Thank you for your faithful support.

Presbyterian Church of Myanmar - an update

We have received via the Global Mission Office of PCANZ an update on the state of affairs of our sister church, the Presbyterian Church of Myanmar (PCM).  We have had a close relationship with PCM over many years. Over the past 5 years they have been sorely tested by civil war, flood, cyclone and most recently a major earthquake. They need our prayers.

Please read the update here
