ROSTERS
Door Duty, Welcoming, Communion, Tea & Coffee and Readers Rosters for the months of
December 2024 and January 2025, have now been emailed.
Please note all services are combined services (starting at 9.30am) with the exception of
1 December, where we will still have the 8.30am and 10.30am services.
Please check your rosters carefully as for some rosters you may be rostered more than once in this two-month period.
How wonderful to have celebrated the FoodTogether Pop-up's one year birthday at St Columba!
They celebrated with cupcakes and every bag that was pre-ordered went in to the draw to win a
free bag of fresh fruit and vegetables to claim another week.
A huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers who serve together to make this pop-up happen.

Receptionist - Ronel Fraser
We are sorry to announce Ronel Fraser’s decision to resign from her position as Receptionist.
Ronel has chosen to step away in order to dedicate more time to her new baby boy.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ronel for her contributions and dedication, during her time with us.
We wish her all the best in this exciting new chapter of her life and much happiness with her family.
KNITTERS NEEDED
Our "Botany Babies" group has recently lost a faithful, long-standing knitter of
newborn baby beanies, and the loss of her regular knitting will be greatly felt.
We are hoping for new knitters to help and support the "Botany Babies".
This involves knitting in 4 ply baby yarn (wool or acrylic), and a pattern and wool can be supplied.
These beanies (also booties & small teddies) are offered as gifts weekly to all
new mothers giving birth at our local Botany Birthing Unit. With this gift,
we give them a little card from St Columba and an information leaflet on our church play group.
There are no quantity or time expectations.

St Columba Church has had a strong friendship based relationship with PCM as far back as 2007. Several groups from St Columba have visited PCM at its headquarters in Kalaymyo, Myanmar, and we have hosted groups from PCM in return. Our national church body, PCANZ, continues to foster this relationship through the Global Mission office, under the leadership of Phil King. Our church was instrumental in creating a charitable fund, called the Rice Bowl Fund, to support the work of PCM.
