We use giving numbers to help us keep track of giving here at St Columba, to keep your details confidential, and so we can make sure it is all allocated to your end-of-year giving statement. We can only issue Tax deductible statements if you use a Giving Number. Please note that only NZ based giving towards St Columba based projects and funds are eligible for IRD tax rebate on donations.

2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV) says, "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

 

Heres how you can give

1. Auto Payment and Internet Banking

To set up an automatic payment for regular giving, or to make St Columba a saved payee in your internet banking, or to use online EFTPOS using your bank's mobile banking app - our account details are:

• St Columba at Botany
• Acct: 12-3056-0806840-00
• Code: your giving number  (all numerics only)
• Reference: Only enter this for one-off donations to a specific appeal. e.g. Christmas Offering, otherwise leave this blank.

2. CASH on Sunday

To give with cash on Sunday, pop it in the offering box as you enter the auditorium.  

• If you have a giving number, put your offering in an envelope clearly marked with your giving number.
• Please ask at the office if you would like us to provide  a numbered set for you.
• If you are also donating to a specific appeal fund, write the amount and name of the appeal on the envelope as well.

3. EFTPOS

You are welcome to use our EFTPOS facility any time you are at St Columba. It is available at the Welcome desk.

• Enter the dollar amount including decimal places
• Insert or swipe your card , or tap for paywave
• Press PURCHASE on the bottom Right
• Choose your account: 1-chequing or 2-Savings (paywave  goes straight to Credit)
• Press YES to print a copy and keep one receipt for your records
• Write your giving number on the front of the copy and put in the box marked "EFTPOS Receipts" on the Welcome desk.
